Assalamu Alaikum (Peace be upon you). My name is Rayan Mahmud, and it is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the School of Islamic Studies.

The Vision

The School of Islamic Studies, established in 2002, has been committed to providing Islamic education under this name through online, offline, and in-person formats. Operating on an informal basis, it strives to make Islamic learning both accessible and relevant to all.

As we expand our online presence, our commitment to serving the community remains stronger than ever. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and meaningful learning environment that nurtures spiritual growth, critical thinking, and a deep connection to Islamic knowledge.

SIS offers a comprehensive approach to learning Quranic Arabic and Islamic teachings. Designed to cater to a wide audience, SIS ensures that Islamic knowledge is within reach for everyone, with engaging sessions covering foundational Islamic principles and Quranic recitation.

Qaida, Quran, Tajweed & Islamic Studies (QQTIS)

This comprehensive programme provides students with a strong foundation in Qaida, Quran recitation, Tajweed, and Islamic Studies, rooted firmly in the Quran and Sunnah. Students will develop essential skills through understanding, internalising, recognising, and confidently applying the rules of Tajweed in their daily recitation. Learning goes beyond theory, empowering students to explain and implement Tajweed principles with clarity, accuracy, and confidence. Alongside Quranic studies, the Islamic Studies component offers engaging and accessible lessons in core Islamic teachings. Students are guided to understand their rights and responsibilities in Islam, connect with the wisdom of the Sunnah, and translate knowledge into practical action in everyday life.
